Amber Portwood may have a hard time smoothing things over with ex-fiance Gary Shirley, father of her 2-year-old daughter Leah.
The 20-year-old Teen Mom star has been barred from contacting Shirley after she was arrested Monday on four counts (three felony, one misdemeanor) related to the alleged physical attacks against her ex. The ruling will remain in effect until a judge decides to lift the order.
Contrary to internet reports, a Madison County Jail clerk tells UsMagazine.com that Portwood is still allowed to see her 2-year-old daughter Leah.
"We don't have a no contact order against her for her daughter," the clerk tells Us. "In court she was told she cannot have contact with Gary, and he was advised of that as well. He is aware of the order."
Though Shirley, 24, has the ability to file an appeal, the clerk says he has not made any requests as of Wednesday.
Portwood, who was placed on a 24-hour hold with $5,000 bail Monday, returned home the following day — and she can rest easy knowing that her legal fees are taken care of.
When she appeared before Madison County magistrate Steven Clase Tuesday, the Teen Mom star was forced to reveal her income — a whopping $140,000 for a six-month contract with MTV.
