Tyler Cameron and his fiancée, Tate Madden, made a very special announcement on Dancing With the Stars.
The couple revealed during Dedication Night on Tuesday, October 20, that they are expecting their first baby. The pregnancy news came as Madden joined Cameron, 33, and pro Sharna Burgess for a contemporary routine dedicated to mothers everywhere.
“You would’ve loved the woman I’m gonna marry,” Cameron said in a voiceover while speaking to his late mother, Andrea. “All the things that made you sepcial, I found in her. She’s gonna be the most incredible mama, just like you. And we’re gonna have a baby. I can’t believe I’m gonna be a dad. Wish you were here, hope that I make you proud. I love you and I miss you every day.”
Cameron cradled Madden’s baby bump during the heartwarming reveal. The pair then went on to learn they’re expecting a baby girl, with pink confetti erupting in the ballroom as the audience cheered.
“[I’m feeling] truly incredible. … This is a huge night that we’ll celebrate forever,” Cameron said before receiving a score of 32 out of 40 from the judges.
During the intro package, Madden gushed over her relationship with Cameron. “Tyler has one of the biggest hearts and that’s a testament to how his mom raised him,” she told the cameras. “She gave me the man of my dreams and I’m just overwhelmingly grateful to her.”
Cameron, meanwhile, got emotional about never getting to dance with his mom at his wedding. “She passed away in 2020, she had a brain aneurysm,” he recalled. “Just like that, she was gone. … I’d love to tell her about Tate.”
Cameron got down on one knee and proposed to Madden in August on a beach in Little Palm Island, Florida. “Better late than never they say,” Cameron captioned the post.
That same month, he took to Instagram to praise Madden while celebrating her 33rd birthday. “To my lovely fiancé, I would like to wish you a happy 33rd birthday,” he captioned a number of photos of them throughout the years. “You are the greatest multiplier of my life. You have given me so much love, so much life, so much fun, and so much peace.”
The Bachelorette alum continued, “You have made my life so much more than I could have ever imagined. I am so lucky to call you my fiancé, and soon call you my wife. Never change. Never dim that light. Can’t wait to spend many more birthdays with you! I love you my lady 😘.”
Cameron and Madden have been together since 2024. The following year, Cameron exclusively gushed to Us about Madden, sharing that she is The One. “I think she is everything that I’ve ever wanted in somebody,” he said. “She is also my best friend on top of that. I think that’s all a good recipe right there.”
He went on to explain why he waited to debut his relationship after his reality TV past. “That was a big step for us. Now, being in the public eye, you basically add a third party to your relationship,” he noted. “They’re always going to scrutinize or say something. It’s learning how to navigate through that, and I think she’s done a great job at it — and so far, it’s been good.”
Dancing With the Stars airs on ABC and Disney+ Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
