Lydia Plath revealed she suffered an emotional pregnancy loss after announcing she was expecting her first baby with husband Zac Wyse.
“There’s no words for the pain as we grieve the loss of our little angel,” the Welcome to Plathville star, 22, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, October 14, announcing her miscarriage. “Our first child, our greatest love, and a true miracle. We’re so grateful for the short time we had with our baby bean.”
Lydia’s post included a black and white photo of an ultrasound next to a bouquet of roses and a pair of baby socks.
“You were so loved and celebrated every day we had with you!💕,” she continued. “You were the talk and the joy of our lives with family, honorary aunts and uncles and friends. All so excited to love you and meet you but now you’re gone too soon💔.”
Lydia also referenced her late brother Joshua, who died in 2008 at 17 months following a farming accident.
“Give my brother a hug for me.🤍Can’t wait to meet you in heaven. Love, mom and dad💔,” she concluded.
Several fans took to the comments section to send their condolences to Lydia and Zac, 25.
“I am so sorry for your guys lost. I can’t imagine how hard this is but take solace in the fact that they knew nothing but love ❤️ sending healing and prayers your way,” one user wrote while another replied, “Lydia, you’ve always had the sweetest purest soul. I am heartbroken for your loss😢 you are in my prayers and you will be great parents one day🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😢.”
Lydia had not publicly revealed she and Zac were expecting before revealing she had suffered a miscarriage.
Lydia and Zac tied the knot in February 2025 after being engaged for two months. The couple had their first kiss on their wedding day.
“Yes! We saved our FIRST KISS for our wedding day!😘It’s really saddening to see how that is taken such the wrong way in this day and age,” Lydia wrote via Instagram in August 2025 about her and Zac’s decision to wait to kiss. “Instead of people seeing how [honorable] and selfless that was of my husband, they assume we just weren’t attracted to each other. QUITE THE OPPOSITE!”
Lydia continued, “It had secretly been something I had desired, but I wanted the man to bring it up by the Holy Spirits leading and not me putting rules on by my own strength. To my surprise within one week of dating, Zac brings it up! It had never even crossed his mind till he met me.”
Lydia added that the wait “was worth it.”
“And now that we’re married, trust me, we’re making up for lost time!😘,” she shared. “This man loves me in such a beautiful, pure way that I didn’t even know existed!❤️🥹.”
