Whitney Port is refreshingly honest. Since welcoming her six-month-old son, Sonny, the new mom has opened up about everything from her struggles to breast-feed to the nightmare that is taking your baby out alone for the first time. Now she’s getting real about how she compares herself to other parents on social media. And it’s so relatable.

“I look at photos and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, how did they get themselves together and look so cute?’ or ‘How do they keep their house so clean?’” Port told Us Weekly at a WaterWipes event on Wednesday, January 24. “I am constantly comparing myself and it’s so unhealthy.”

That’s why Port is adamant about sharing both the highs and lows of motherhood. “I want to show people what it really looks like,” the 32-year-old Hills alum told Us. Another example of Port’s candidness: she admits to missing parts of life pre-Sonny.

“There are so many days where I want to relax and watch TV and I just can’t do that anymore,” she said. “I just miss free time.” But Port added she and TV producer husband, Tim Rosenman, still squeeze in an occasional date night.

“Yesterday he texted me and was like, ‘I found this really amazing event I want to take you to, are you free February 27th?’ It ends up being a Van Morrison concert!’” she gushed. “I think it’s super important to reconnect. We usually just go to this spot not he corner. Or we go see a movie.”

Port recently partnered with WaterWipes to help kick off their “When a Baby Is Born a Parent is Born” campaign. WaterWipes are the World’s Purest Baby Wipes with 99.9% water and a drop of fruit extract.
