Want to be America’s Next Top Model? Tyra Banks hopes her son York doesn’t want to be. Us Weekly spoke to the supermodel at the America’s Got Talent Red Carpet Kickoff event on Monday, March 12, where she confessed her aspirations for her little guy.

York — who Banks shares with former partner Erik Asla — is only 2 years old, so he’s got some time to decide what career path to take. The AGT host is thinking ahead, though. “I wouldn’t love for him to model, but I wouldn’t tell him, ‘Don’t do it,’ because then he’d do it more,” Banks shared. “I’m going to support what he wants and just hope it’s not modeling, but if it is, I’ll be telling him how to smize.”

The America’s Next Top Model host explained why she’s so against the idea of York following in her footsteps: “Male models, I don’t know if they have the careers the female models tend to have. The female models tend to joke and go, ‘They are our accessories. I have on earrings and some shoes, and I have a male model in the shot.’ You know, that’s kind of what the girls tend to joke about.”

For now, York is blowing his mom away with his knowledge of colors, numbers and a few foreign languages. “He has friends in his classes that are like ‘re- re- red,’ and my son is already up to silver and rose and rose gold,” she said proudly. “And he has been counting to 20 since he was 18 months. So he’s really, really smart. He speaks Spanish, Norwegian and English. He’s a smart one. But he’s still crazy and damn near rolling on the floor and not listening to me most of the time.”
