Yolanda H. Foster is always on the go. As the star of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she invites cameras into the sprawling Malibu, Calif., mansion she shares with music producer husband David Foster and her three children on a weekly basis, and tells Us Weekly she takes great pride in giving viewers a glimpse of her hectic yet impeccably kept household.
"My days are crazy, like most moms in the world. My days are full every day, but I think that's what makes us women so powerful: A guy could never [balance] that! We're just able to juggle it all [as moms]," Foster — who helms a blended family of her own kids and Foster's five — tells Us.
One way Foster, 48, keeps her household running smoothly? She sticks with what works. When it comes to cooking for her hubby and their children, the Holland-born former model isn't afraid to try and try again. "I'm not a great cook, but I'm also not afraid to make mistakes," says the reality star, who famously baked four chocolate soufflés for a picnic lunch with her husband — in case two didn't turn out to her liking. "One of my best dishes is spaghetti bolognese, but my family gets sick of it because they have to eat it almost every Sunday!"
While her innate organizational skills impress her friends — like RHOBH costar Kyle Richards, who once likened Foster's flawless kitchen space to an upscale grocery store — the busy mom tells Us she doesn't just maintain her space to entertain others. "I was born organized. There's just something in my brain . . . I have a huge need to be organized," she says. "For me, when there's no clutter, it gives me energy to create new things."
