Kim and Kourtney Kardashian threw their daughters North West and Penelope Disick a Candy Land-themed birthday party on Saturday, June 15.
The KKW Beauty founder, 38, posted videos on Instagram that showed how her backyard was transformed into a real-life version of the Hasbro board game, complete with a colorful, winding track, gingerbread houses and tons of sugary treats.
“Candy Land is the theme of today for North’s party,” Kim said as she strolled past larger-than-life gumballs and cute little toadstools. She also posted a video of a table laden with layer cakes and frosted cupcakes with the words “Happy B-Day Penelope and North” spelled out in a variety of candies.
Kourtney, 40, later shared a video that showed her daughter, who turns 7 on July 8, standing by as her birthday cake was sliced open to reveal rainbow layers and a center filled with sprinkles and candy.
The sisters have thrown joint birthday parties in the past for North — Kim’s eldest child with Kanye West, who turned 6 on Saturday — and her cousin and bestie Penelope, whose dad is Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick.
Last year, the girls celebrated with a unicorn-themed bash, while previous years featured a Moana party and a mermaid-themed celebration.
Earlier in the day, Kim wished her daughter a happy birthday on Instagram, sharing a series of photos and writing, “Happy Birthday my sweet girl! The last 6 years have been the best of my life raising you and seeing you grow up. Mommy loves you forever and beyond!”
North’s uncle Rob Kardashian also shared birthday greetings, posting a sweet photo of his niece on Instagram that showed her cuddling a puppy.
Momager Kris Jenner shared nine gorgeous photos of her granddaughter and wrote, “Happy Birthday to my little Angel Northie!!!! What a bright light you are and such a blessing to our family!! Your magic and sunshine lights up every room and I adore how creative and smart you are. You are so kind and loving to everyone you know and have a beautiful heart and soul…I love you so much precious North and it is a pleasure and a privilege to be your Grandmother. I love you.”
