Every January, some of the biggest names in Hollywood leave their beachy vibes behind in sunny L.A. as they descend upon snowy Park City, Utah, to premiere their latest indie flicks (and celebrate with a cocktail or two) at the Sundance Film Festival.
This year, Us Weekly got to know some of the festival’s biggest and brightest stars with a few insightful rounds of 25 Things You Don’t Know About Me in the exclusive Us Weekly Video Lounge at Chefdance, where we also had beGlammed on hand for some last-minute VIP primping. Here’s just a taste of what we learned.
Orange Is the New Black’s Alysia Reiner revealed her favorite Kardashian is actually a Jenner. “I would be Caitlyn [Jenner] because she’s a hero and she has more courage than anything I’ve ever experienced,” Reiner told Us.
Meanwhile, Reiner’s Equity costar Sarah Megan Thomas revealed that her first celebrity crush was on her Backwards costar James Van Der Beek, who Thomas said “was such a good on-set boyfriend!”
Rectify actress Abigail Spencer came clean about why she was “a terrible employee” while working at her father’s surf shop in her youth. Spencer also talked Us through an awkward (and hilarious) public encounter she had with one of her favorite celebrities (watch the video above to find out who!).
Teen activist Amandla Stenberg and her As You Are costar Owen Campbell, and Sing Street star Jack Reynor, revealed their hidden talents and told Us what their favorite songs of the ’80s and ’90s are.
Watch the video above to find out more juicy tidbits about the stars of Sundance!
