Biography:

Born in Florida in 1981, Abigail Spencer got her start on ABC’s All My Children, playing the beloved character Becca Tyree from 1999 to 2001. Amid her success on the soap opera, she was awarded a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Female Newcomer.

She later moved to the Lifetime drama Angela’s Eyes, which aired for one season in 2006. Spencer also starred in hit movies including This Is Where I Leave You, Oz the Great and Powerful, Chasing Mavericks and more. In 2011, Spencer was cast as Dana Scott in USA Network’s Suits. The beloved show ran for nine seasons before concluding in 2019. Since then, the Grey’s Anatomy alum has maintained her close friendship with costar Meghan Markle, even attending her royal wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

In 2004, Spencer tied the knot with Andrew Pruett and welcomed son Roman in 2008. In 2013, the duo split.
