90 Day Fiancé’s Armando Niedermeier-Rubio is remembering daughter Hannah’s joyful spirit before she was hospitalized for a medical emergency.
“On Monday, (after asking us for weeks if she could) Hannah started filming a ‘Get Ready With Me’ for her internet aunties,” Armando, 37, wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 17. “We never got the chance to finish it or post it since we ran out of time that day, but we were planning on doing another video the next day. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to 🥺.”
Earlier this week, Armando detailed the moment he noticed his daughter’s face became “droopy,” affecting her lips.
After going to the doctor in Mexico, Hannah was urged to receive additional medical care in the United States. The 13-year-old was transferred to a hospital in Arizona, where she learned through a scan that there was some blood in her brain. Her official diagnosis, however, has yet to be revealed.
As Armando waits for answers, the TLC reality star decided to post a throwback video of his daughter to remind fans what she was like when healthy.
“I wanted to share this because this is my sweet girl… happy, full of life and doing something she loves, which is makeup,” he wrote. “She’s always been such a girly girl. Please continue to keep Hannah in your prayers. Cannot wait until she’s back home & she can start making the videos she wants for all of you again. ❤️ #healingvibes #kennyandarmando #90dayfiance.”
Viewers met Armando and his now-husband, Kenny Niedermeier, on season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in 2019. The couple met in an online support group for gay fathers. After dating long distance, Kenny moved to Mexico to be with Armando.
While Armando has been unable to see his daughter in the United States, Kenny has been by Hannah’s side providing updates.
“Hannah told me to tell you all, thank you for all the love she is receiving from all of you,” Kenny, 63, wrote via Instagram on Thursday, July 16. “She is truly touched and shocked by it all. It means the world to all of us!“
A GoFundMe page was set up by Armando’s friends to help raise funds for medical bills and travel expenses.
“I’m honestly embarrassed to ask for help,” Armando wrote via his Instagram Story on Wednesday, July 15. “If you’re able to donate, it would mean the world to us. Medical bills are piling up, and every little bit truly helps. If you’re not able to donate, even sharing this would mean so much. Please only do what you can. Thank you for your love, prayers and support.”
