Committing to her craft! Broad City star Abbi Jacobson appears on the next episode of Lip Sync Battle, and she put on one impressive performance in her showdown with collaborator Ilana Glazer.
Jacobson, 31, competes against her longtime bestie and Broad City costar Glazer, 28, in the episode airing Thursday, Aug. 6. She clearly took the challenge very seriously as she took the stage in a bedazzled gown and grabbed the mic to begin an epic performance.
The Pennsylvania native chose Jennifer Hudson’s version of “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from the Dreamgirls movie soundtrack for one of her songs, rising to the powerful nature of the track.
In a new clip from Thursday’s episode, Jacobson grooves and shakes as she lip syncs, “No, no, no, no, no, no way / I’m not wakin’ up tomorrow mornin’ / And findin’ that there’s nobody there / Darlin’ there’s no way / No, no, no, no, way / I’m livin’ without you / I’m not livin’ without you.”
As Chrissy Teigen sang along, Glazer and host LL Cool J began to bow down to Jacobson, celebrating the hilarious star for her stunning performance.
