Sorry, ladies — he's taken! Adam Brody stepped out with some very significant new bling on Tuesday, Feb. 18, just hours after Us Weekly exclusively broke the news that he and Leighton Meester had gotten married.
The O.C. alum, 34, sported a simple band on his left ring finger as he left a gym in L.A. He kept his eyes hidden behind a pair of sunglasses, and carried a red hoodie and a tote bag over his arm.
Multiple sources confirmed to Us on Feb. 18 that Brody and fellow former TV star Meester — both of whom starred on Josh Schwartz shows — had secretly tied the knot just three months after news of their engagement went public, and just a year after Us exclusively revealed that they were dating.
"They were always close and friendly," a source previously told Us of the stars, who appeared in the 2011 movie The Oranges. (They also worked together on the upcoming comedy Life Partners.)
A resolutely private twosome, neither Brody nor his new bride has commented on the relationship publicly. But Meester is clearly happy about something; shortly after news broke of their secret wedding, she took to Twitter with a joyful message about her upcoming gig in Of Mice and Men.
"So grateful. So excited," she wrote. "Who's comin! Previews start March 19, opening night is April 16. :)"
