Watercooler break! People are fascinated with Microsoft's latest website How-Old.net, which tries to estimate the age of anyone just based on their photo. But sadly, some users' results don't even come close. Case in point: Al Roker.
The Today show team conducted their own experiment with the addictive site on Friday, May 1, and showed the ballpark answers via Instagram. Matt Lauer, 57, received age 48. Tamron Hall, 44, also got a nice bump down with age 35. Sheinelle Jones got 24.
As for Roker? The 60-year-old veteran journalist got (wait for it…) 84! "How old do the TODAY anchors look?" the official Today show account captioned. "(Sorry, Al!) #TODAYShow."
Don't feel sorry for Roker, though. Besides the fact that he got a near smooch from Salma Hayek on the same day, Microsoft's viral hit isn't completely accurate. (Clearly!) If a user uploads multiple snapshots, they are bound to get different outcomes spanning decades.
