Amanda Bynes has had a change of heart — at least when it comes to Drake, her former celebrity crush whom she recently called "ugly" on Twitter. In a June 14 tweet, the 27-year-old Easy A star issued a rare apology to the 26-year-old "Headlines" rapper. "I'm sorry about the tweets I said about Drake. I didn't mean what I said," Bynes explained. "I hope to become friends with him instead of smashing him!"
Earlier that morning, Bynes shared her thoughts on love with her 2 million followers. "You know you're in love with someone when you don't want to go a minute without talking to them or seeing them," she tweeted. "Everybody's made for someone. You're lucky if you find them or they find you."
Though Bynes had made a habit of calling people "ugly" on Twitter — including her father, Miley Cyrus and Lance Bass — the aspiring musician rarely makes amends online. "This is my twitter. I say whatever I want," she explained June 12. "Thanks!"
The Hairspray star made another out-of-the-blue announcement via the social networking site on Thursday, June 13: "I could never marry a German because I'm Jewish." What prompted such a revelation from the actress is unknown. (Luckily for Bynes, Drake hails from Toronto. He is also Jewish.)
Bynes was arrested in New York City on May 23 and later charged with marijuana possession, attempted evidence tampering and reckless endangerment. She has denied all charges and will next appear in court July 18.
