Not so fast! Amber Heard didn’t go on a shopping spree at Tiffany & Co. in Beverly Hills following her split from Johnny Depp, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.
Earlier today, a photo of the London Fields actress, 30, surfaced, with reports claiming that it was taken on Tuesday, May 24. But, in fact, the pic was taken on April 27, nearly one month before Heard filed for divorce.
As previously reported, Heard and the Alice Through the Looking Glass actor, 52, are divorcing after over a year of marriage. According to TMZ, Depp is asking the judge to reject her request for spousal support.
Heard and Depp first began dating in 2012 and got engaged in January 2014. Back in January, Depp alluded to marriage troubles while accepting the Palm Springs Desert Palm Achievement Award at the International Film Festival in Florida. “I also have to thank my wife, Amber, for putting up with me. For living with all these characters, which can’t be easy,” he said at the time. “It’s hard for me, it’s gotta be hard for her.”
This will be the first divorce for Heard and the second for Depp. The Pirates of the Caribbean star shares daughter Lily-Rose, 16, and son Jack, 14, with his ex Vanessa Paradis. The longtime partners, who never wed, were together from 1998 to 2012. Depp was married to makeup artist Lori A. Allison from 1983 to 1986.
