Girls’ night out! Anna Duggar has been keeping a low profile in the wake of husband Josh Duggar‘s molestation and cheating scandals, but she showed no signs of distress on a night out with Josh’s cousin Amy Duggar on Friday, Oct. 30.
Amy, newly married to Dillon King, shared a photo from their evening via Instagram, showing both girls with big grins. “Any negative comments will be deleted, just try me,” she captioned the pic. “She’s beautiful!”
According to Entertainment Tonight, the ladies were attending an event for the conservative family planning organization Loving Choices, which is based in the Duggars’ native Arkansas.
“Anna and I go to this fundraiser every year, a lot of the family does,” Amy told ET, noting that Duggar matriarch Michelle was in attendance, as was pregnant Jessa Duggar, who’s due to give birth to her first child any day now. “We love babies and just love this event.”
Amy added to ET that Anna had “so much fun” and looked “so pretty” at the event. “I think the picture I posted shows how strong Anna truly is, she’s smiling, and has a lot of love around her,” the newlywed gushed.
Anna has not been seen much since Josh checked into a long-term treatment center in August, after Gawker reported that he had multiple accounts on the infidelity website Ashley Madison. The spouses have been married since 2008 and have four children together.
“I talk to her a lot. She’s doing good,” Amy previously told Us of Anna. “She’s strong.”
