Introducing Harper Hammer! Armie Hammer and his wife Elizabeth Chambers Hammer welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Dec. 1. Now, her rep confirms to Us Weekly that the little one is named Harper. (Just Jared was the first to report the news.)
“Elizabeth lived on Harper Ave. when she and Armie met eight years ago and they always said they would name their first daughter Harper,” a source told Just Jared about the meaning behind the name.
The name is a popular one in Hollywood with Office alum Jenna Fischer welcoming her daughter of the same name in May, and, of course, the adorable 3-year-old daughter of Victoria and David, Harper Beckham.
The Lone Ranger star, 28, and his TV personality wife, 32, married in 2010, and plan to have more kids.
“They talk about having a couple, though they’re thrilled with one now,” an insider told Us back in June when they announced Chambers’ pregnancy. “They treated their dog as a good warm-up.”
