It's Christmas in California! Ashlee Simpson celebrated a holiday-themed 30th birthday bash with friends and family on Friday, Oct. 3.
"Last night made it @ashleesimpsonofficial favorite holiday Christmas in California," Simpson's new husband Evan Ross captioned a snapshot via Instagram. "It was a snowy one. Happy birthday baby."
Simpson was surrounded by twinkling lights and friends as she smiled with Diana Ross' son next to a blow-up snowman with a "North Pole" sign. She donned a comfortable jacket and boots to keep warm on the real snow.
The birthday girl was also joined by older sister Jessica Simpson for the special festivities. "Ready to celebrate 30yrs of having the best sister on the planet!" the mom of two, 34, wrote via Instagram. "Happy Birthday @ashleesimpsonofficial."
Instead of going casual, Jessica dressed up and looked glam for the party. She wore a sleeveless black ensemble, rocked dark lipstick, and added shimmering Masquerade-esque makeup around her eyes. "Not gonna lie… It took about 3 washes to get this fantastic mask off," she later wrote.
