Ben Affleck has ditched his wedding ring once again. The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star was spotted out in Santa Monica, Calif., on Monday, July 13, with a bare wedding ring finger following his split from wife Jennifer Garner.
The Argo star kept his wedding ring on during his first post-split appearance at Comic-Con in San Diego on Saturday, July 11.
During the panel, a business-as-usual Affleck opened up about taking on the iconic role of Batman, admitting that he was nervous to play the character.
"If I had thought too hard about the actors who had played this part before, I couldn't have taken the job…I talked to Zack [Snyder] about it, I was like, 'Are you sure?' And he was like, 'I have this vision and this idea for the guy and you're perfect for it," he recalled of his discussion with the director. "I said, 'Well, what do you mean?' And he said, 'He's at the end of his rope, he's older, burning out.'"
Affleck’s appearance came after he spent quality time with his three kids in Atlanta, Ga., where his estranged wife has been filming Miracles From Heaven. Affleck has been staying in the guest house of Garner’s temporary pad.
"After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the couple said in a joint statement to Us Weekly on June 30. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."
"This is just as hard on him and difficult for him," an insider reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now. "Any divorce is tough on everyone.”
