Always in their hearts. An hour after the news of her death broke, Bobbi Kristina Brown was honored on Whitney Houston's Facebook on Sunday, July 26.
"It is hard to say goodbye. On Sunday, July 26, Bobbi Kristina Brown made her transition peacefully," the statement read. "The family thanks everyone for their loving thoughts and prayers. As Bobbi Kristina would say: 'The wind is behind me and the sun is in my face.'"
Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter died at the age 22 nearly six months after being found unresponsive and facedown in her bathtub at her Atlanta area home on Jan. 31. She was hospitalized in a medically induced coma at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Ga., and was later transported from Atlanta's Emory University Hospital, and to an undisclosed rehabilitation facility in March. Last month, she was moved into hospice care.
As Us Weekly exclusively reported, Bobbi Kristina's aunt and co-legal guardian Pat Houston had recently cleaned out Bobbi Kristina's townhouse.
"She is finally at peace in the arms of God," the Houston family told Us in a statement Sunday. "We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
