Bobbi Kristina Brown

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was born in Livingston, N.J. in 1993. She was brought into the spotlight at only age 2, when Grammy-winning superstar Houston brought her on stage at the American Music Awards to accept her award.

After Houston died in 2012, Brown was named the sole beneficiary of her mother’s estate. In October 2012, Brown became engaged to a family friend, Nick Gordon, which caused controversy within the family.

On Jan. 31, 2015, Brown was found facedown in a bathtub at her home in Atlanta. She was placed in a medically induced coma at the hospital, where she remains.
