Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is casting doubt on Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s relationship timeline.
“I know that they said they didn’t hook up until after the joint statement,” Brianna, 26, said during the Sunday, May 31, episode of her “Plan Bri” podcast, referring to Amanda and West’s claims that they were not intimate with each other until shortly after they went public with their relationship.
Brianna added, “I don’t know fo sho, but I’m throwing a f***ing bulls***.”
Summer House costars Amanda, 34, and West, 31, confirmed their relationship in a joint statement on March 31 after weeks of speculation from fans. The bombshell came three months after Amanda and husband Kyle Cooke announced their separation.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” Amanda and West said. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
They continued, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
During part one of the Summer House season 10 reunion on May 26, Amanda and West claimed that they had their first kiss in late February, while the first time they slept together occurred sometime after they released their statement.
Brianna disputed the pair’s claims about their timeline, citing the 2026 Super Bowl on February 8, where West allegedly told her that he and Amanda were “a thing.” The podcaster did not believe that Amanda and West were truthful about their first time getting intimate.
Brianna said on Sunday that fans have asked her to “speak [her] truth” ever since her boss, Dave Portnoy, let it slip on April 1 that she knew something about Amanda and West’s relationship, which was unconfirmed but widely speculated about at the time.
“Yawn. Chickenfry told me this at the Super Bowl. Old news,” Portnoy, 49, wrote at the time via X alongside an article about the rumors.
Brianna reiterated on Sunday that West told her he and Amanda were an item at the Super Bowl. However, she pointed out that he didn’t specifically tell her, “‘I had sex with her last night, or I kissed her or whatever.’ He just said they’re a thing.”
“I’ve never watched the show before, so I was like, ‘Whoa, that’s crazy.’ Because I thought it was crazy because of Kyle and Amanda. I didn’t even know the Ciara of it all,” she continued. (Amanda and West’s relationship has been scrutinized because she was best friends with Ciara Miller, who previously dated West and has been open about how much their 2023 breakup hurt her.)
Brianna questioned why Amanda and West had to clarify when they first slept together, pointing out that it shouldn’t matter as long as it didn’t cross over into the timeline of Amanda and Kyle’s marriage. (West stated in April that there was “no overlap” between the relationships.)
Brianna also shared that she hasn’t spoken to West or Amanda since she released her first podcast episode about the situation in March, recalling that she told the pair during a night out about her plans to address the drama.
“I don’t agree with what they did at all, but West and Amanda have been nothing but kind to me,” Brianna said. “I took West to the side at the bar … and I was like, ‘I just have to be completely transparent and honest with you. I go in on you both tomorrow in the podcast episode. I don’t agree with the whole situation.’ I’m completely honest and transparent. And I haven’t talked to them since, which I think is fair.”
