Brie Larson Is Engaged to Boyfriend Alex Greenwald

Make ‘room’ for the bride! Brie Larson is engaged to boyfriend Alex Greenwald, her rep confirms to Us Weekly.

The musician, 36, popped the question to the Oscar-winning actress, 26, during a trip to Tokyo in March, a source tells Us.

Recently, the newly minted A-lister was spotted wearing her new engagement ring while she was hosting Saturday Night Live on May 7.

Greenwald accompanied Larson to several awards shows earlier this year when she was nominated (and won!) for Room, including the 2016 Oscars, where she snagged the Best Actress trophy. After acknowledging her movie son Jacob Tremblay in her speech, she thanked her “real partner, Alex Greenwald. I love you, the whole thing!”

The couple have been dating on and off for several years, and she gave her first public shout-out to Greenwald in 2013 during her winner’s speech for Best Actress for Short Term 12 at the Gotham Independent Film Awards.
