Police Suspect That Brock Turner Texted Photo of Victim’s Breasts to Pals: Report

Brock Turner, the former Stanford University swimmer who sexually assaulted an unconscious woman behind a Dumpster on January 18, 2015, allegedly snapped pictures of the victim’s breasts and sent them to friends. According to court documents obtained by Daily Mail Online, police suspect that the 20-year-old blasted the image to his buddies using a group messaging app. The first person to respond was teammate Justin Buck. “WHOS TIT IS THAT,” the British athlete asked.

According to the Daily Mail, police were not able to access the photo in question, as it had been deleted by either Turner or a third party.

The Daily Mail points out that unlike Turner’s other teammates, including Olympic hopeful Tom Kremer, Buck, 21, did not write a character statement to Judge Aaron Persky, who tried the case.

Blake Bolton, a witness of the sexual assault, told police that he had seen a man hovering over the victim with a phone, the Daily Mail reported.

This is not the first piece of incriminating evidence to be discovered on Turner’s cellphone. According to text messages and videos obtained by San Jose Mercury News, the Ohio native was well versed in hard drugs and alcohol during his high school days near Dayton, Ohio. As previously reported, in Turner’s statement to Persky, he blamed his actions on Stanford’s “party culture,” noting, “Coming from a small town in Ohio, I had never really experienced celebrating or partying that involved alcohol.”

Turner was convicted on three felony counts of sexual assault. Persky sentenced him to just six months at Santa Clara County Jail, a sentence many criticized as being too lenient. On Thursday, June 9, the Associated Press revealed that Turner will only serve three months.
