Real Housewives of New Jersey couple Teresa and Joe Giudice are selling their dream home.
With a reported $11 million of debt, the couple recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and are accordingly cutting corners.
First to go: their lavish Towaco, NJ home whose construction was documented on the first season of the show. The over-the-top, custom-designed estate features a 10,000 square-foot house on 3.77 acres of wooded property and is on the market for $3.99 million, E! News reports.
What else does almost $4 million get you? 16 rooms, five and a half-baths, two ponds, a stream, a man-made waterfall, game room, wine room, a separate live-in guest suite — and plenty of gold and marble accents.
At an event earlier this week, Guidice told UsMagazine.com that "staying positive is the only thing I could do," in the wake of her family's financial woes. "I have moral support; I have my daughters and my husband. As long as we're in good health, that's all we can do. I think this kind of situation is all over the world."
Update: Giudice took to her Twitter account to deny the original reports after the listing was pulled from Realtor.com's site.
