Brooke and her boys. Brooke Mueller stepped out with her 4-year-old sons Bob and Max just hours after her brother, Scott Mueller, was awarded temporary guardianship of the twins. Earlier in the day, TMZ reported that her sons with ex-husband Charlie Sheen would be moving back into her house six months after they were removed from her care from L.A. County Department of Child and Family Services.

During the outing, Mueller — who has been in and out of rehab nearly 20 times to get help for prescription drug abuse — can be seen carrying her son Max as a female friend is spotted closely behind carrying Bob. Mueller also wore a red and black striped long-sleeve shirt with her dark locks swept pack in a low ponytail.

According to TMZ, the judge felt that Mueller, 36, and Sheen's boys should continue their education at the school they've been attending, and should therefore stay at their mom's home instead of her brother's, which is too far away. In addition, the kids may be living under Mueller's roof, but technically she still does not have full custody rights. (Sheen's second ex-wife, Denise Richards, reportedly told officials recently that she could no longer handle the twins because of their "violent" behavior.)

As for Sheen, 48, he couldn't be more displeased with the outcome. Shortly after Mueller's brother gained temporary guardianship, the Anger Management star lashed out via Twitter.

"So lemme see if I got this straight. My twin boys are now in harms way and in grave danger. Being 'raised' by a gaggle of incompetent and lascivious marionettes all ruled and fooled by an adderol snorting husk called Brooke," he wrote.

"Guess what CPS and 'I'm Italian' judge anus-brain," he continued. "You may have gagged me temporarily, but mark my unspoken words, anything happens to my boys, and you will know get to know me, know who I truly am, a loving father. tag – I'm it."
