Biography:

As Charlie Sheen‘s third wife, Brooke Mueller (born August 19, 1977) is a former actress turned real estate agent. The two met after Sheen divorced Denise Richards in 2006 and wed two years later. Mueller gave birth to Sheen’s third and fourth children, twins Bob and Max, in March 2009.

Mueller and Sheen made headlines during Christmas 2009 when she called 911 after he allegedly put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her while the two were vacationing in Aspen, Colorado.

Mueller herself is no stranger to run-ins with the law: she was arrested in 1996 for a DUI and damage to property and arrested for cocaine possession in 2001.

Though the two considered reconciling, the court date for the Christmas incident was postponed after Mueller was checked into the intensive care unit at a Sherman Oaks, Calif., hospital.

In November 2010, Sheen filed for divorce; Mueller responded by filing for primary physical custody and joint legal custody of their twins.
