Bunnie Xo may have subtly reacted to her split from Jelly Roll days after he filed for divorce.
“Women’s intuition when that s*** don’t add up,” Bunnie Xo, 46, wrote over a TikTok shared on May 20, adding in the caption, “Mmmmhmmm #bunniexo.”
In the clip, Bunnie Xo (real name Alisa Andrea Carter) filmed herself looking around skeptically. While suspenseful music played in the background, Bunnie Xo sat up and mouthed something animatedly.
News broke on Monday, June 15, that Jelly Roll, 41, filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo after nearly a decade of marriage. The filing occurred on May 18, two days prior to Bunnie Xo’s TikTok upload.
In court documents obtained by Us Weekly, Jelly Roll (real name Jason Bradley DeFord) listed his and Bunnie Xo’s date of separation as May 9 and listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
The musician also proposed that he and Bunnie Xo have “an equitable division of the parties’ assets” and apportion “responsibility for payment of the parties’ debts.” (Us reached out to Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo’s lawyers for comment at the time.)
Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll tied the knot in August 2016, the same month in which he welcomed son Noah Buddy with ex Melisa Ann Cowell. (Jelly Roll is also the dad of daughter Bailee Ann with ex-girlfriend Felicia Beckwith, whom he welcomed in 2008 while serving a prison sentence for a drug dealing conviction.)
In the years since the former couple wed, Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll have been candid about their relationship and desire to add another baby to their family.
In 2025, Bunnie Xo slammed speculation that her and Jelly Roll’s marriage was struggling.
“Someone said the other day, ‘They used to always be together, and now you never see them together,’” she said on her “Dumb Blonde” podcast at the time. “I’m like, ‘Do you guys not know that for the past six months [that] I’ve been trying to make a baby?’”
The rumors occurred after Jelly Roll’s whirlwind summer, during which he headlined a European tour with Post Malone and met Pope Leo XIV on a visit to Vatican City. Bunnie Xo, for her part, explained that she couldn’t join her husband on his travels because they were exploring fertility options.
“My husband has to work to f***ing bring home the bacon,” Bunnie Xo explained. “Luckily, I get the luxury of working from home. He doesn’t. He has to make appearances, but I literally have been on IVF meds for f***ing six months and going through heartbreak and f***ing so much s***.”
She continued, “That’s why you haven’t seen me [because] mama’s about to pop out. I gotta remind them. I might even do a sexy photoshoot and piss off all the f***ing [haters].”
