No teardrops on his guitar. Calvin Harris appeared to be in very good spirits on Thursday, June 16, despite new photos of his ex Taylor Swift kissing British actor Tom Hiddleston surfacing the day before.
The Scottish DJ, 32, was asked about the snapshots — which were released by British newspaper The Sun — while he was in a parking garage in Beverly Hills.
“Any comment on Taylor and Tom, Calvin?” one cameraman asks. “Is everything going to be OK between you two?”
Harris smiles and replies: “All good. [She’s] just doing her thing.”
As Swifties know by now, the “New Romantics” singer and Hiddleston, 35, first got friendly (and had a dance-off!) during the Met Gala afterparty at the Boom Boom Room in NYC on May 2. Weeks later, Us Weekly confirmed on June 1 that the pop star and Harris had ended their nearly 15-month romance.
“It just wasn’t working anymore. She’s OK,” a source told Us at the time. A second insider noted that Harris was the one to pull the plug.
The DJ opened up about the split via Twitter on June 2. “The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,” he wrote at the time. The tweet has since been deleted.
As previously reported, Harris unfollowed his ex and her brother on Twitter moments before Swift and Hiddleston’s Rhode Island pics surfaced. The “Wildest Dreams” singer responded by deleting several photos of Harris from her Instagram account.
