Calvin Harris is aging all kinds of gracefully. The Scottish musician, 31, took it way back to his teen years on Instagram on Tuesday, July 28, showing just how far he’s come in the years since.
The “Summer” performer and boyfriend to Taylor Swift shared a hilariously awkward throwback photo from 2002, when he was about 18 years old. Harris is almost unrecognizable in the shot, sporting shaggy brunette locks, a face full of stubble, and a preppy striped polo.
Harris poked fun at himself in the Instagram caption, writing, “ME AND IRV IN JUMPIN JAKS DUMFRIES 2002 LOOKING F–KING FANTASTIC #SCOTLAND #LIFE #IRV #LEGEND.”
Swift’s love has just gotten better with age. Harris booked a modeling contract with Emporio Armani late last year and earlier this week, a steamy shot of the star in nothing but briefs made its way online as a part of a new campaign.
Swift, who has seen her own style transition from her days of tight curls and decidedly tween dresses, has been dating the hunky musician for about four months. The two kept their relationship quiet in the beginning, but have taken it more public in recent weeks, regularly sharing photos with one another on social media and gushing about their love in interviews.
“It’s going absolutely fantastic,” Harris told the UK’s Kiss FM of his relationship. “It’s boxes I didn’t even know existed, she ticks. It’s really ridiculous… She’s generally an incredible cook and human being.”
