Congratulatory kiss! After strutting her stuff down the runway at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday, Nov. 13, Candice Swanepoel got a well-deserved kiss from longtime boyfriend Hermann Nicoli.
The 25-year-old South African model showed some PDA on the pink carpet at the after party at TAO Downtown in New York City. Wearing an ultra low-cut, short white Alexandre Vauthier dress, Swanepoel shared a smooch on the lips with her boyfriend while posing together. Nicoli, also a model, sported a black suit and white dress shirt for the evening, and proudly supported his girlfriend of about seven years.
During the show, Swanepoel was the lucky model chosen to wear the $10 million “Royal Fantasy Bra.” The Mouawad-designed lingerie featured over 4,200 precious gems including rubies, diamonds and yellow sapphires. In total, she wore three designs down the runway including a silk, velvet gown and Victoria’s Secret Dream Angels Chantilly Teddy during the show’s “Shipwrecked” theme, and a Victoria’s Secret Temptation Bra, matching panty and corset embellished with flowers during the “Snow Angels” collection.
Backstage, the stunning catwalker chatted with Us Weekly about how she prepared for the show. “I ramp up my workouts and I cut back on stuff that’s not good for me,” she said of her diet and workout plan. “I workout like five times a week for an hour or two each time for the month before the show.”
As for her diet, the model shared, “I do a lot of green juices and green tea. Then I eat stuff like salads and lean proteins and try to avoid the obvious things like salt and sugar and carbs.”
But Swanepoel didn’t worry too much about increasing her fitness routine right before the show. “I just try to relax and enjoy it,” she told Us. “I don’t do anything crazy the 24 hours leading up to the show because by now it won’t really make a difference. I just do what I’ve been doing.”
