Cassie Randolph will only be receiving roses from fiancé Brighton Reinhardt.
Reinhardt, 27, proposed to Randolph, 29, during a pre-dinner stroll at the Crystal Cove Cottages in Newport Beach, California, People confirmed on Wednesday, November 27.
“When Brighton dropped to a knee and asked, ‘Will you marry me?,’ as he opened the box, my reaction was immediately, ‘Oh my gosh, yes!,’ ” Randolph told the outlet, revealing the special moment happened at sunset.
The Bachelor Nation star admitted she was “completely caught off guard” and had “no idea” the proposal was coming.
While Randolph teased that “the only thing I would have changed is, I wish I did my hair,” Reinhardt nailed the moment — and the ring choice.
The musician designed the 5.04 carat elongated cushion cut engagement ring at Simply Radiant with the help of Cassie’s sister, Michelle Randolph, and jeweler Lake McGuire. Reinhardt engraved a C on the band alongside Cassie’s birthstone, which is also a diamond.
After Reinhardt popped the question, his family joined Randolph and her loved ones to celebrate at a nearby restaurant.
Fans met Cassie on season 23 of The Bachelor while vying for Colton Underwood’s heart. Although Cassie left the show early, the twosome decided to give their relationship a second chance during the 2019 finale. The pair called it quits for good in May 2020. (Underwood, 32, publicly came out as gay in April 2021 and has since married Jordan C. Brown.)
Cassie moved on with Reinhardt in summer 2020 after being friends for years. The following year, Cassie starred in Reinhardt’s “Dreaming” video and they became more public about their relationship.
“She’s in a very normal dating relationship with Brighton,” an insider exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2021. “They’re very much in love. They are really happy and just enjoying life.”
Earlier this year, the pair gave a glimpse at their romance while celebrating each other’s birthdays. “Happy birthday to my handsome valentine 😊 i love you! ❤️,” Cassie wrote via Instagram in February.
Two months later, the couple headed to the desert for Stagecoach in celebration of Cassie’s special day. “Happy bday my love! @cassierandolph ❤️,” Reinhardt captioned a series of photos from the country music festival.
Over the summer, the duo celebrated their four-year anniversary as well. “4 years of summer lovin 🤍🤍@brightontaylor ily!” Cassie wrote via social media in August alongside a photo of her and Reinhardt on a boat. “Ilysm 😊😊❤️❤️,” he replied in the comments.
