Dancing King! The Magic Mike XXL wrap party got wild last week at a beach bar in Myrtle Beach, S.C., especially once Channing Tatum took over the dance floor, a source exclusively reveals to Us Weekly.

"Channing was the ring leader on the floor," the insider tells Us. "He was whistling, putting his arms up in the air, and waving people on when they started to dance."

Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Amber Heard were among the main cast members to attend the bash, which was held at the oceanfront 8th Ave Tiki Bar & Grill. The source says that the stars were coming off a long day of filming and were looking to finally let loose.

Indeed, 34-year-old Tatum did just that once the music started playing, the insider adds of the actor, who was joined by the crew. At one point, the talent was even taught how to "Dougie" by a staff member. Along with rhythmically mastering the hip-hop dance (which first went viral from late 2010 through 2011), the dance-happy hunk also broke it down to Ginuwine's "Pony." The sensual hit, the source adds, is actually Tatum's song in Magic Mike.

"Everyone was cheering him on," the insider tells Us. "He was teasing some strip moves, but he wasn't actually stripping — much to the ladies' disappointment of course."

The group also danced to hits by Notorious BIG, Michael Jackson, as well as some memorable '80s hip-hop tunes. According to the bar's manager, producers requested several songs from the sequel's soundtrack to be played during the bash.

The actors who weren't showing off their moves got to mingle and nosh on delightful treats like chicken skewers, calamari, pizza, sliders, fish tacos, and more. "The food was all made in-house and from scratch!" the manager tells Us. "I did see Channing eating some skewers while talking with Matt and Joe."

Not present to witness Tatum's wild outbreak on the dance floor? His wife and fellow dance partner Jenna Dewan Tatum. "Nobody brought their partners because the crew had seriously come straight from the last day of filming," the source says, adding that the open-bar bash lasted until 1 a.m.

Tatum teased Magic Mike XXL, the sequel to the smash 2012 dramedy, on the Today show last month, calling it "the Super Bowl version of what the first one was." The sexy flick will hit theaters on July 1, 2015.
