Chelsea O’Donnell was found by authorities on Tuesday, Aug. 18, with an alleged drug addict after going missing for a week, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

Rosie O’Donnells 17-year-old daughter, who suffers from mental illness, was discovered unharmed upstairs with her therapy dog Bear in the alleged addict’s home in Barnegat Township, New Jersey, the insider confirms.

“They met on Tinder,” the source tells Us, referring to the popular dating app. “Chelsea is underage and he is 27 years old.”

The comedian informed fans that her daughter was missing on Tuesday, Aug. 18, posting an alert on her website and on Twitter. Hours later, the teen was found after police reportedly tracked a cell phone she had been using after a missing person’s report was released. 

According to Page Six, the former View co-host is “relieved to have Chelsea back safely but is obviously very concerned for her well-being.” On Wednesday, Rosie tweeted: "no mom is perfect – we all do our best."

"Rosie wants to thank everyone for their help, especially the South Nyack, New York, and Barneget Light, New Jersey, police departments,” Rosie’s rep told Us in a statement yesterday. “Her daughter Chelsea O’Donnell has been located by the police and is safe in their custody.”

The source, who maintains that Chelsea was not doing drugs, adds: “The family is going through a lot.”
