There’s a new neighbor in town! NBA star Chris Paul officially bought the home that Justin Bieber infamously egged back in January 2014, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
The Los Angeles Clippers point guard, 30, recently purchased the home in The Oaks neighborhood of Calabasas, Calif., meaning that he and Khloe Kardashian will be neighbors.
Also important to note is that Paul’s rival, James Harden, will also likely be in the area often, since he’s dating Kardashian, 31.
In July 2014, Bieber, 21, pled no contest to allegations that he had egged his neighbor’s house back in January, resulting in one count of misdemeanor vandalism.
The “Sorry” singer was sentenced to five days of community labor and participation in an anger management program, in addition to paying $80,900 in restitution.
His neighbor had estimated that Bieber’s vandalism had caused $20,000 worth of damage to his home.
Early last month, the pop star told Us Weekly that he’s still searching for a new place to live.
“I don’t want neighbors!” he explained. “I’m loud, I’m really loud. I’m gonna play my music really, really, really loud every night, I’m gonna play the drums. I’m gonna have a lot of people over, probably. And I can’t have neighbors, just because I don’t want to piss anyone off.”
