Country artist RaeLynn and her husband, Josh Davis, have split after 10 years of marriage.

“After much thought and prayer, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. This has not been an easy decision,” RaeLynn, 32, shared in a statement via Instagram on Tuesday, July 14. “As a working mom, I am committed to giving my daughter the love, stability, and support she will need while we navigate this next chapter together.”

She continued, “I am grateful for the love and encouragement of my family, friends, and fans, and I respectfully ask for privacy as we move forward with grace and compassion.”

In court documents obtained by Us Weekly, RaeLynn filed for divorce from Davis on June 8 in Davidson County, Tennessee. The now-estranged couple share daughter Daisy, born in 2021.

After meeting at church in 2012, RaeLynn and Davis became friends before their relationship turned into something more. Davis popped the question to the Voice contestant in 2015.

“OMG I’m getting married!” RaeLynn gushed to Us at the time. “My life has been so crazy with my singing career and traveling and being 21, but you can’t plan when you’re gonna meet ‘The One.’ When it’s right, you just have to go with it.”

“He makes me better at everything I do,” she continued. “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him. Did that really just happen??? Time to workout really hard to look good in that white dress.”

The pair tied the knot the following year in Nashville surrounded by loved ones.

“I was looking over the RSVP list and seeing who’s all coming, and it’s just a reminder of how blessed I am,” she told Us in 2016. “When I moved to Nashville, you know, I didn’t know anybody, and now I’m having a wedding here, and half of the people I’m inviting are people that I’ve met here, and just to have known that I’ve built all these relationships in three years, and that these are people that I’ll know forever is just so cool.”

Shortly after saying “I do,” Davis enlisted in the army.

“It’s just made us stronger,” the musician told People in 2020. “When he was gone for basic training, I was writing him letters every day. After that 14 weeks [apart], when we saw each other, we cried and we both were like, ‘We can now get through anything.’”
