Back in July, Mathers, 29, posted a photo to her Snapchat story of a nude woman in an LA Fitness in Los Angeles. She captioned it, “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.” In a subsequent Snapchat photo, she covered her mouth while laughing about the incident.

After severe backlash, the 2015 ‘Playboy’ Playmate of the Year posted an apology video on Snapchat: “I just wanted to acknowledge a photo that I accidentally posted on Snapchat earlier today and let you guys know that that was absolutely wrong, and not what I meant to do,” she said. “I have chosen to do what I do for a living because I love the female body, and I know that body-shaming is wrong and that’s not what I’m about, that’s not the type of person that I am. That photo was meant to be a personal conversation with a girlfriend, and because I am new to Snapchat, I didn’t realize that I had posted it and that was a huge mistake.”

In response to the incident, Mathers was banned from all LA Fitness locations and suspended indefinitely from her gig at “Heidi and Frank” radio show on KLOS-FM 95.5.

At the time, LA Fitness filed a complaint with the police, but there was no immediate legal action since the woman was unidentified.
