Darin Brooks and Kelly Kruger are officially divorced.
According to court documents obtained exclusively by Us, Brooks, 42, and Kruger’s dissolution of marriage is effective as of Tuesday, July 28. The soap stars cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
Brooks and Kruger, 43, have also entered into a settlement agreement, per the docs. The exes will keep all the cars that are in their respective names and in addition to all their personal property, including furniture, appliances, clothing, jewelry, and any other personal effects.
The pair will keep their financial accounts and retirement assets in their respective names. They will also keep any personal employment earnings they have individually accrued starting at the pair’s date of separation, listed as December 31, 2025.
Brooks will get to keep the cryptocurrencies in his name, but a portion will be transferred to Kruger. The actress, for her part, will keep all inherited assets.
Kruger and Brooks will share joint legal custody and parenting time of their two children, Everleigh, 6, and Gemma, 4, per the docs. The pair waived their rights to receive spousal support and agreed that there will be no monthly child support paid to each other at this time. They are both responsible to pay half the cost of their children’s health insurance and will share costs for other healthcare expenses.
Earlier this year, Kruger and Brooks revealed that they quietly separated after 10 years of marriage.
“We’re committed to coparenting our two children and remaining friends,” the exes said in a joint March statement to TV Insider.
Us previously reported that Brooks and Kruger filed for divorce back in January.
Brooks and Kruger met in 2010 while working together on the show Blue Mountain State. The pair started dating that same year.
“We became best friends, and for a good three to six months she was telling me who to date,” Brooks told Soaps.com of his and Kruger’s romance in 2016. “We were spending so much time together, and one day I just grabbed her head, and I kissed her.”
Before joining Blue Mountain State, both Brooks and Kruger worked on soap operas. Brooks famously played Max Brady on Days of Our Lives from 2005 to 2010. He won a Daytime Emmy for his performance in 2009. Kruger, for her part, appeared on The Young and the Restless as Mackenzie Browning from 2002 to 2003. She later reprised her role from 2018 to 2019.
