Four years of wedded bliss! Audiences may swoon over Dave Annable every week while watching the freshman series Red Band Society, but according to the hunky actor himself, it was hard to get a date as a teenager.

"I'll always be that guy in high school who got shot down for every dance," the 35-year-old tells Us Weekly. (Hard to imagine!)

Nonetheless, Annable has seen strides in both his personal and professional life over the last decade, with starring roles on Brothers & Sisters, 666 Park Avenue, and now playing Dr. Jack McAndrew on the FOX drama. In October 2010, he tied the knot with fellow actor and October Road alum Odette [maiden name: Yustman] — something his high school self may have even been surprised by.

"When we went on a date, I thought, 'Well, I gotta lock this up,'" he tells Us. "I know I traded up in that deal!"

The couple are pretty tame when it comes to discussing their relationship, but have been known to go on double dates — and celebrate birthdays — with pals Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson. Luckily, they do have fun when they relax at home just by themselves too.

"We love to play the board game Settlers of Catan," Odette, 29, tells Us. "That's how nerdy we are."

Us broke news four years ago that the couple tied the knot in an intimate Ojai, Calif., ceremony. Clad in a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown, Odette walked down the aisle to The Beatles' "All You Need Is Love."

"I married my best friend and I could not be happier," the Reunion alum told Us at the time.

"It's so cool," Odette added of finally getting to call Dave her husband. "I feel so lucky!"
