It keeps getting worse for this former teen idol. David Cassidy's wife Sue has filed for divorce, TMZ reports. The couple has been married for 23 years. "This has been looming for some time," Sue tells TMZ. "I am truly heartbroken that our marriage is ending."
Last month, the former Partridge Family star was arrested for his third DUI. According to TMZ, Cassidy, 63, was pulled over on Jan. 10 after making an illegal right turn while exiting the 405 freeway in Los Angeles. He blew a .19 during a sobriety test.
Cassidy also got himself into trouble when he received a DUI last August. He failed an administered sobriety test after being pulled over for driving with his high beams on. In November 2010, he was handcuffed in a Florida DUI incident.
Cassidy and Sue, 65, have reportedly been separated for four months and share son Beau, 23. The '70s heartthrob also is dad to Arrow actress Katie Cassidy, 27, whom he had with ex-girlfriend Sherry Williams.
