It's unlikely that Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato will be butting heads again after tonight's (Dec. 18) X Factor finale. Well, at least not on TV. The former Disney star will not be returning to judge the show for season 4, a source confirms to Us.
"She has a great time but she's going to focus on her music next year," the source said.
Lovato, 21, released her fourth studio album, Demi, in May 2013, but has been so busy with the Fox competition show and her guest role on Glee, that she hasn't had a chance to tour yet.
The "Heart Attack" singer is embarking on her Neon Lights Tour in February 2013 with former X Factor finalists Fifth Harmony, British girl group and X Factor UK winners Little Mix, and X Factor UK alum Cher Lloyd.
Lovato judged two seasons of The X Factor, last season alongside Britney Spears, Simon Cowell, and L.A. Reid for season 2, and this season with Kelly Rowland, Simon Cowell, and Paulina Rubio.
The X Factor season 3 finale airs Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 8 p.m. ET.
