Demi Moore is sharing a behind-the-scenes look at daughter Tallulah Willis’ wedding prep.
“A glimpse into my beloved Tallulah’s wedding dress fitting,” Moore, 63, wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, August 11, alongside several photos of Tallulah, 32, trying on her dress — a bespoke Balenciaga bridal gown designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli. The frock featured a strapless design with a silk column, a draped train and a bow on the back of the skirt.
“All the tender moments leading up to her beautiful day are forever etched in my heart,” Moore continued. “So grateful we were able to share this precious event together as a family.”
She concluded, “Thank you Pierre Paulo for designing such a remarkable dress and making my sweet girl’s dreams come true.”
Tallulah tied the knot with husband Justin Acee during an intimate wedding ceremony in Sun Valley, Idaho, on Saturday, August 8, after three years together.
“The best part of the dress is the magnitude. It’s the thing that’s getting me to my new husband,” Tallulah told Vogue in an interview published on Sunday, August 9. “[Justin and I] made a decision at the very beginning of our relationship that we were going to choose each other every day. My biggest hope [for the dress] was that [it would be] something magical, but magical in a way that was unexpected, kind of like me.”
She continued, “I’ve worked very hard to be comfortable in my own skin, to be in something that there’s a strength in is profound for me. I’ve worked so hard in my life to be able to find that beauty every day. This is definitely a very special peak celebration moment of beauty.”
Moore’s longtime stylist, Brad Goreski, helped with finding the perfect dress.
“Being able to put together things that I like, and working together with Brad too on that, and walking in the room and seeing all of these things come to life, and then also knowing it was for me, was such a beautiful moment,” Tallulah recalled. “I’ll never forget that.”
Moore shares Tallulah, as well as daughters Rumer, 37, and Scout, 35, with ex-husband Bruce Willis. The Die Hard actor, 71, is also the dad of daughters Mabel, 14, and Evelyn, 12, with wife Emma Heming Willis.
Tallulah and Acee’s wedding took place amid Willis’ ongoing health battle. In 2022, the Sixth Sense star was diagnosed with aphasia, a disorder that causes language comprehension and speaking impairments. One year later, his family revealed that his condition had progressed to frontotemporal dementia, which can “cause deterioration in behavior, personality and/or difficulty with producing or comprehending language,” according to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Tallulah and her family have continued to share updates and photos of Willis throughout his journey. Last year, the actress addressed social media users who criticized her for sharing “vulnerable” pics of her father.
“As a family we use our discretion when posting. Today was a great day filled with smiles,” she wrote in response to a fan via Instagram. “I made the judgment call to show that to the world, because I know what he means to everyone.”
