Diane Keaton Wants to Marry Channing Tatum, Knows How to Woo Men: Watch!

Watch out, Jenna! Diane Keaton stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, May 6, and revealed that she has her sights set on one Mr. Channing Tatum.

The Oscar winner, 69, caught up with Ellen DeGeneres in promotion of her new movie 5 Flights Up, in which she plays the wife of Morgan Freeman‘s character. In the romantic comedy, the two have been married for 40 years and look back on their lives together as they consider selling their apartment. The plotline touched Keaton, and inspired her to reflect on her own love life.

“I never got married,” she began to DeGeneres, 57. “So the fact that somebody could live for 40 years with someone and be devoted to that person is something that moves me and I’m profoundly affected by it.”

DeGeneres, who found love with wife Portia de Rossi when she was in her forties, reassured Keaton, “It’s not too late!” The beloved star looked flabbergasted, responding, “Me?!”

“Who’s gonna…” she pondered, considering her romantic prospects. “Wait, oh. Channing Tatum?”

Unfortunately for Keaton, she was soon informed by DeGeneres that Tatum is married to Jenna Dewan, and has been since 2009. “That’s okay!” Keaton exclaimed, maintaining her love for the hunky Magic Mike actor before adding, “Channing Tatum is actually married to someone else… not me?” As to whether she ever wants to get married, Keaton asserted, “To Channing Tatum!”

DeGeneres promised Keaton that there is someone out there for her other than the already married Tatum, 35, saying, “There will be somebody!” When the Annie Hall star shot back, “You think? Nobody… get real,” DeGeneres pushed further, saying, “No I am real. Love is. Love doesn’t have an expiration date. You can fall in love any time at any age. You just say I am ready for it.”

While Keaton has never walked down the aisle, she has not been without love in her life. The celebrated actress had serious relationships with Al Pacino, Warren Beatty, and Woody Allen, and she dished on The Ellen Show that at different points in her life she’s been with a man twice her age and one half her age.
