Quinn Fabray will walk the hallowed halls of McKinley High once again! After announcing Glee‘s original cast members would all be invited back for the 100th episode, show creator Ryan Murphy confirmed on Dec. 5 that actress Dianna Agron would return as the complicated former head cheerleader.
“Dianna is IN for Glee 100th!” Murphy tweeted.
Before the official announcement, Agron, 27, tweeted to fans, “There will be news today that I think might make many of you happy…it makes me happy too.”
And following Murphy’s statement, she tweeted, “Going to be fun…. #glee100.”
Agron’s participation is especially of note considering she was noticeably excluded from the moving Oct. 10 Cory Monteith tribute episode after playing his character’s girlfriend, head cheerleader Quinn Fabray, for a significant part of the show.
Fellow Cheerio and real-life new mom Heather Morris (Brittany Pierce) was the other wild card in the bunch, but Murphy confirmed on Dec. 4 that she’d also be returning for the 100th episode.
Others heading back to Lima, Ohio include Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones), Mark Salling (Noah “Puck” Puckerman), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang), and Kristin Chenoweth (April Rhodes).
The Glee cast suffered a devastating loss in July of this year when original cast member Monteith (Finn Hudson) passed away following a drug overdose at his hotel in Vancouver.
