Us Weekly got exclusive photos and access to Dierks Bentley’s pre-Super Bowl party in his hometown bar, Whiskey Row. Whiskey Row is dubbed the first of its kind for the city, mixing an old-school country flare with a Scottsdale twist, just like the owner himself. Guests at the boîte can quaff Ole Smoky Moonshine, the official moonshine of the singer’s tours.

The “Drunk On a Plane” singer, 39, stepped into the kitchen of the loud bar this past Friday, Jan. 30 to chat with Us Weekly about coming back to his hometown and what’s next for him.

“This really is my hometown,” Bentley told Us. “It’s fun having your local bar actually have your name on it. I used to come down to these bars with my fake ID.”

The country superstar took snaps and partied with his industry peers and local college kids alike. The bash  followed the announcement of ACM nominees Friday morning; Dierks was nominated for seven awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year for Riser.

“I feel like I’m having a party that just coincided perfectly with the ACM nominations,” Bentley told Us. “It should be pretty fun.”

“My daughter Evie plays the piano and Jordan plays the fiddle,” Bentley said. “We really just goof off with music.”

The country star didn’t stay for the Super Bowl though. He flew out immediately after his parking lot pre-concert on Sunday, Feb. 1 to head to L.A. for the Ellen Degeneres show.

“Performing on Ellen is definitely more nerve-wracking than performing here,” Bentley said. “But country fans are so loving – if you love them, they’ll love you right back.”
