Robert James Ritchie, known as Kid Rock to the masses, was born in Michigan in 1971. After years of struggling as a rapper, his big break came in 1999 with the single “Bawitdaba” from the album Devil Without a Cause.
The single became an overnight sensation and by the end of 1999, the album went platinum seven times and was nominated for three Grammy Awards. His personal life has been just as interesting.
He married Pam Anderson in 2006, but the two split less than a year later.
