Dolly Parton’s nephew Bryan Seaver is publicly supporting his sister Rebecca Seaver after she was reportedly let go from the late country icon’s eponymous museum amid family feud rumors.

“I am very proud of my sister Rebecca Seaver and her endeavors building Dolly’s archive and museum, and my cousin Danielle Parton is my closest family and my buddy,” Bryan wrote via Facebook on Saturday, October 31. “We are nearest in age and have always been pals.”

He continued, “I have always and will forever sing her praises and support her as she goes about her journey and career. Both of these women are dynamos in their fields and there is no feud between us. I love them both with all my heart.”

Rebecca had previously been tasked with overseeing Dolly’s archive and operations at her newly opened Life of Many Colors museum inside her StoryTeller Hotel. TMZ reported on Friday, October 30, that she was fired. (Further details or confirmation have not been publicly shared as of publication. Us has reached out to the museum for comment regarding her employment status.)

Bryan, for his part, was let go from his post as the head of Dolly’s security in September after announcing the beloved singer’s August death.

“We remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family,” a rep for Bryan’s security firm, SAPS, told Us in a statement at the time. “We refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much.”

Under his previous position, Bryan had been tasked with sharing that his aunt died at the age of 80 after a brief, private battle with an undisclosed form of cancer.

“As her head of security for more than two decades — a role my father Larry held before me — I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven’t truly felt it until now,” he said in a video statement shared to Dolly’s social media pages. “It is an honor — an honor that is mixed with absolute pride and great sadness. But sadness lies with us, not with Dolly.”

He added at the time, “Dolly has lived in the light and is in the arms of Jesus, surely met by Carl [Dean, her late husband], her parents and countless others who have watched over her and longed for her to meet them in the heavens. By her example, we believed anything was possible. She never met a door she couldn’t open and the doors she opened made and changed history. My family and I have shared a lifetime of beautiful memories with Dolly [and] so have you.”

In the wake of Dolly’s death and Bryan’s firing, speculation arose that the Parton family were at odds.

“I’ll say this and this only: there is no feud within our family. No one among the Parton/Owens family is fighting over Dolly’s estate,” the singer’s sister Freida Parton said in a social media statement shared in September, squashing the claims. “We all love Bryan, just as we love each other. I love you all!”
