New year, new digs. Dustin Diamond, better known as Screech on Saved by the Bell, will start serving his four-month jail sentence in January, several local news stations reported on Wednesday, December 16.

The actor, 38, was arrested last Christmas for allegedly stabbing a man during a bar fight in Milwaukee, and was charged with disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon.

“At approximately 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 25, 2014, the Port Washington Police Department responsed to the Grand Ave. Saloon for reports of a stabbing,” the Port Washington P.D. told Us in a statement at the time. “Evidence quickly gathered at the scene indicates a male, age 37, had stabbed another male patron and left the bar in a white SUV with his 27-year-old girlfriend. Officers quickly located the suspect vehicle and suspects and took both into custody.”

Diamond was cleared of a felony charge in May, but was found guilty of two misdemeanor counts and sentenced to four months behind bars.

On Wednesday, the troubled star appeared in court in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, and withdrew his appeal of the disorderly conduct conviction, according to WHBL-TV.

The Saved by the Bell alum will begin serving his time on January 15.
