Prom pose! Amid rumors that their marriage is on the rocks, Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes packed on the PDA at the Hollywood premiere of Cibrian’s latest film, The Best Man Holiday. The spouses of two years gave photographers classic wedding, engagement and prom poses on the red carpet at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
Cibrian, 40, dressed up in a navy blue velvet suit jacket, dark dress pants and white dress shirt for his movie premiere. Rimes 31, meanwhile, styled a more casual gray dress, cream leather coat and tall tan boots for the date night. An eyewitness told Us Weekly that the couple “looked very happy” and were kissing, hugging, holding hands and smiling for the cameras.
The Best Man Holiday, directed by Malcolm D. Lee, tells the story of college friends reuniting over the Christmas holidays after 15 years. When asked by reporters what movie cast he would like to see in 15 years, Cibrian turned the question to Rimes, who answered, “I hope you.” (The couple met on the set of Northern Lights in 2009 while they were both married to other people.)
During a press junket for his film earlier this week, Cibrian slammed reports that his marriage is in trouble to Entertainment Tonight. “[The divorce, affair rumors have] been going on for so long,” he said. “They’re just absurd, and to give any validity to any of these things, it’s crazy.”
A source also told Us, “They’ve been laughing off rumors of his infidelity. They really don’t take all the reports too seriously and have been doing fine.”
The couple is set to star in an upcoming TV show based on their lives on VH1, currently titled LeAnn & Eddie. Cibrian joked to ET, “We have such a great marriage — very functional . . . We just decided to do a [reality] show to screw that all up.”
