Elizabeth Olsen: “I Blew It” With Taylor Swift, We Didn’t Exchange Numbers

Elizabeth Olsen: "I Think I Blew It" With Taylor Swift
Elizabeth Olsen dished about the awkward time she met Taylor Swift.

The Avengers may have welcomed her with open arms, but Elizabeth Olsen hasn’t exactly been invited into Taylor Swift’s ever-growing famous girl posse. The younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen dished about a recent awkward encounter she had with the “Shake It Off” singer, 25, at a friend’s birthday party, during a visit on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

“I really love her, and earlier in my ballet class, I was doing a dance sequence to her music,” Olsen, 26, said of Swift. “I only listen to her music when I’m working out, which is a little too often because of Avengers. And I just talked at her for like a long time. I think I blew it because we didn’t exchange phone numbers or anything.”

Olsen might not be getting emoji texts from Swift, who counts stars like Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Lorde, Sarah Hyland, and Karlie Kloss as pals, due to an unintentional diss about the pop star’s music.

“She was asking me which song it was, and I couldn’t remember the song title, and I wasn’t going to sing it for her!” she exclaimed. “I’m still nervous thinking about it right now.”

But the actress seems more comfortable with her Avengers: Age of Ultron costars. When Corden asked her who the biggest diva on the set is, Olsen replied, “No one’s a diva, but…”

“Who takes the most time in the makeup chair?” the host pressed.

“Thor,” she said of Chris Hemsworth’s hammer-slinging god character. “He’s got a lot of hair, and he’s got a lot of body to put makeup on. He’s got a far larger canvas than most people, I’d say.”

Us Weekly exclusively broke the news that Olsen is getting extra cozy with another Avengers star, Tom Hiddleston, who played Thor’s evil brother Loki. Though the pair don’t appear in the same Avengers film together, “They’ve been hooking up,” an insider tells Us.
